One day as I was visiting a friend, sitting and relaxing on the balcony a familiar rumbling of my tummy reminded me the time was near to eat and not just anything. I made my way down the stairs to the kitchen where I found korean bbq beef, mixed salad, kimchi which is a fermented salad of sorts, tortillas and corn. Immediately my hands gathered these ingredients and I started heating, slicing and putting together these ingredients and the results were fabulous. My mom used to say that 'flavors are in your hands'. I never knew what this meant until now.
